Monday September 5^th

After the hangovers had gone Riyan, Kas, Karim and I explored the coast by the chalet, descending the steep rickety steps to the rocky beach

Feeling worn out after tyhe previous day we just hung around in the sun doing nothing much

That evening whilst tidying up the chalet I moved the glass chopping board onto the cold hob unit, then Areef turned on the hob without seeing the board; a little later there was an almighty bang as the board shattered sending glass right across the chalet floor causing us to spend a good half an hour brushing up shards and trying to avoid treading them anywhere else.
